Just heard from him for the first time since 1979 (31 YEARS, people!) via Facebook, where he offered a very sincere amends for all the sad times. Needless to say, his issues with substance abuse & infidelity broke us up and I moved on in a major way (after having a serious heartache for quite awhile after).
